Parks Named Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month

Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with UC Riverside athletics and chosen women's soccer player Ashley Parks (pictured) as the October recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." Please visit the Budweiser Responsibility Matters web page to view past recipients.

In the month of September Parks helped the Highlanders women's soccer team to a 4-1-3 record including shutouts in each of UCR's wins. The Etiwanda, CA native recorded her first goal of the season - a game-winner - on Sept. 4 against Southern Utah and assisted on a Jessica Cortez goal on Sept. 18 against Bowling Green State.

The Highlanders senior was named to the UC Irvine Invitational All-Tournament Team for games played Sept. 4-6 as well as the UniWyo Cowgirl Classic All-Tournament Team for games played Sept. 25-27.
