UCR Asst Coach Tommy Tate To Travel With US National Team To Germany

UC Riverside Assistant Women's Soccer Coach Tommy Tate has been named the goalkeeper coach for the US Women's National Team for their trip to Germany in late October. After a week of training, the US will face off against the German National Team on October 29 at 10 am PT.
Tate joined the Highlanders coaching staff prior to the start of the 2009 season, and UCR has decreasd its goal against average by nearly a full point from a year ago (1.60 to 0.76). Highlanders goalkeeper Jessica White boasts a save percentage of .879 (15th best in the nation) and a goals against average of 0.77 (53rd).
