Clayton Named Budwieser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month

Riverside, CA - Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with UC Riverside athletics and chosen Men's Golfer Scott Clayton as the May recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." Click here to see all past honorees.
The San Bernardino native posted a third place finish at the Big West Conference Championships on April 20-21, firing a two-under-par 214 (70-71-73) three-round score. Clayton was honored with a Second-Team All-Conference distinction for his efforts throughout the season.
Earlier in the month, the junior led the Highlanders at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, finishing in 27th place out of 117 individuals with rounds of 74, 70, and 70. Prior to that, Clayton fired his second-lowest round of the season with a 69 in the third round at the Anteater Invitational on March 30-31, finishing out the tournament in third place.
