Hur Named Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month

Riverside, CA - Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with UC Riverside athletics and chosen Men's Baseball player Michael Hur as the June recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." Please visit the Budweiser Responsibility Matters web page to view past honorees.
Hur was named to the All-Big West First-Team on May 26, earning the first All-Conference award of his career. The junior led the Highlanders in OPS (1.009 - 5th in the Big West during the regular season), batting average (.372 - 7th), on base percentage (.426), slugging percentage (.583 - 5th), home runs (7 - T10th) and RBIs (52 - 5th), while finishing second in hits (74 - 10th), triples (2) and runs scored (46) and third in doubles (17 - T8th).
Hur helped the Highlanders to 33-20 overall record and a 12-12 mark in Big West play, finishing fourth out of nine teams.
