Riverside, CA - Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with UC Riverside athletics and chosen Women's Track and Field athlete
Brenda Martinez as the July recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month."
This is Martinez's second Good Sport of the Month award as she was named the April recipient after earning All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Continuing with her successes on the track, Martinez finished second in the 1500m run at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on June 13, earning her second All-American honor.
Martinez came into the NCAA Championships as the West Regional Champion in the 1500m and the Big West Champion in both the 1500m and 800m runs. She was named the Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Year as well as UC Riverside's Female Athlete of the Year for her accomplishments.
Martinez then competed in the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on June 28 and finished ninth in the 800m run.
