The last time the UC Riverside women's cross country team ran on its home course, the Highlanders capped the day by celebrating their first Big West title.
Ten months later the Highlanders unveil a different look when they host the UCR Invitational on Saturday. Gone are the top three runners from a year ago -- Cristina Olivas, Brenda Martinez and Danielle Evans -- and in their place is a group [including junior transfer Christy Adamyk (pictured)] with some big shoes to fill.
