Sakhakorn Opens Season With Singles Win At Cal State Fullerton Tournament

Fullerton, CA - The UC Riverside women's tennis team got its 2010-11 season underway on Friday at the Cal State Fullerton Tournament.

In singles play, senior Nadia Sakhakorn defeated Julian Mannix of CSU Bakersfield 6-2, 6-3 in the second round to advance to Saturday's third round.

Double competition starts at 8:00 am tomorrow morning, with the third round of singles and consolation singles slated to start at 9:30 am.
