Men's Basketball To Honor Franklin "Lindy" Lindeburg Saturday, January 8

Riverside—Join the UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team on Saturday, January 8 as the Highlanders honor the life and career of the team's first head coach and long-time athletics director and university contributor Dr. Franklin "Lindy" Lindeburg.
The celebration begins with a dinner at the Alumni & Visitors Center at 5 pm PT followed by the men's basketball game at the Student Recreation Center vs. Cal State Fullerton at 7:30 pm.
At halftime, the jersey number 54—the year the university was founded, and Lindy's first year at UC Riverside—will be retired in Lindy's honor.
The dinner is open to the general public, and costs $35 to attend. For additional information, please contact Julie Hall in the Highlander Athletics Association Office at (951) 827-6289.
