Dir of Basketball Operations John Smallwood Nails Half Court Shot

Riverside—UC Riverside Director of Men's Basketball Operations John Smallwood was in attendance at Saturday evening's Highlanders women's basketball game, and his name was drawn at random to take a half court shot during a timeout in the first half as part of a Bud's Tire Pros corporate partnership contest.
If he made the shot, he would go home with four free tires, courtesy of Bud's Tire Pros.
Not only did he hit the shot, but he did it by shooting it backwards.
