Borum Named Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport Of The Month

Riverside—Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with the UC Riverside Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and chosen men's basketball player Javon Borum as the January recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." The senior guard averaged 20.0 points per game in December connecting on 51.4 percent of his field goal attempts, 47.1 percent of his three-pointers and 90.3 percent of his free throws while averaging 3.0 assists per game.
The Washington D.C. native also scored a career-high 30 points at UC Irvine on December 28, including 23 in the second half, as the Highlanders erased a 10-point Anteaters lead to pick up the win.
The men's basketball team returns to the court to host La Sierra on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 7:00 pm at the Student Recreation Center in Riverside.
