Gatewood Is Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month

Riverside—Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with the UC Riverside Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and chosen women's track and field athlete Ashley Gatewood as the June recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." The Montclair, CA native was named Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Year for 2011 after scoring 20 of the Highlanders 97 points at the conference meet in May. She finished first in the javelin, second in the hammer throw and seventh in the shot put.
