Riverside—Riverside native and Centennial High School standout Sam Finley signed a national letter of intent today to play basketball at UC Riverside beginning with the 2013-14 season.

"It's exciting to know I'm going to be playing for UCR next year" said FInley. "I can't wait to represent Riverside."
"We're excited to add another Inland Empire product to our roster to help continue the growth of our program," said Head Coach Jim Wooldridge. "Sam is also a proven winner, a hard working kid with a great family, and we truly believe that he will be a great addition to the UC Riverside community in all aspects."
Finley was also heavily recruited by Northern Arizona, Pacific and Weber State. ESPNLA listed him in their Inland Empire Boys Basketball Top 10 players to watch article in December of 2011.
