Men's Tennis Opens 2013 Season Friday At SDSU, Sunday At Fresno State

San Diego—The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team opens the 2013 spring season on Friday, January 18 with a 2 pm PT match at San Diego State. The Highlanders then travel to Fresno State on Sunday, January 20 for a 3 pm contest in Fresno, CA.
The Highlanders are guided by first-year Head Coach Tim Downey, return five letter winners from a year ago, and welcome six newcomers to the team.
UCR participated in two tournaments during the fall, with Jimmy Roberts and Julian Ruffin both going 3-1 in singles action to lead the way.
