Second Round Of Play Suspended Due To Darkness At Arizona Intercollegiate

Tucson, AZ—The second round of play for the UC Riverside Men's Golf Team at the Arizona Intercollegiate was suspended due to darkness Monday at Vistoso Golf Club.
Most of the 15 teams that are competing in the tournament have between three to five holes remaining to complete the second round, which will resume with a shotgun start at 7 am PST Tuesday. The final round will begin immediately after the second round is completed.
Thirty-six holes were initially scheduled to be completed Monday, but play was suspended due to darkness around 4:45 pm.
When play was suspended, Arizona State and TCU lead the field with a total at four-under par. California (-2), New Mexico (E) and the host school Arizona (+2) rounded our the top five spots. California’s Joel Stalter holds the individual lead at eight-under par.
UC Riverside fired a 308 in the first round and is currently in 15th place after a partial second-round.
Individually, David Gazzolo fired a 74 in the first round, Christian Rajcic came in with a 76, Ryan Smith carded a 78, Bradley Fox shot 80, and Jason Semthiti finished with an 83.
