College Soccer Madness Names Cunningham, Arellano, Thomasson To All-Big West Team

Riverside—College Soccer Madness released its 2013 Big West Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams today, and UC Riverside's Tyler Cunningham, Sammy Arellano and Briana Thomasson were all named to the Second Team.
Cunningham and Arellano were honored by the Big West earlier in the week with Second Team and Honorable Mention nods (Read the story).

Cunningham led the Highlanders in goals this season with four, and none were more crucial than the pair she scored on the last day of the regular season in UC Riverside's 2-1 victory over Long Beach State. The win over the 49ers propelled UCR into the three seed for the Big West Conference Tournament which begins tonight on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. The Highlanders take on two seed UC Irvine at 5:05 pm (watch live on ESPN3).
Arellano tied Cunningham for the team lead in points with eight, as she scored three goals and recorded two assists in her freshman campaign.
Thomasson stepped into the starting lineup in this, her sophomore campaign, and helped anchor a completely revamped UC Riverside defense.
