Men's Golf Sits 12th At North Ranch Intercollegiate After First Day

Westlake Village, CA - The UC Riverside Men's Golf Team shot a 622 two-round score Monday at the North Ranch Intercollegiate and is in 12th place with one round to go.
Southern California leads the team field with a four-under-par 564, while Pepperdine and BYU are tied for second with a 574.
Individually, all five Highlanders players are just five shots apart from one another, with David Gazzolo leading the way with a 155 (80-75) to tie for 52nd.
Christian Rajcic (81-75) and BJ Doucett (74-82) are tied for 54th with identical 156 scores, while Matt Fitzgerald is tied for 58th with a 158 (80-78), and Ryan Smith is in 63rd carding a 160 (81-79).
Southern California's Sam Smith leads the individual field with a six-under 136.
The final round of the North Ranch Intercollegiate gets underway on Tuesday morning.
