David Gazzolo Wins West Cup Individual Title

Jurupa Valley, CA - Members of the UC Riverside Men's Golf Team competed as individuals in the West Cup Golf Tournament Monday and Tuesday, and sophomore David Gazzolo took home medalist honors with a six-under-par 207 score. Full Results.
Gazzolo shot 71-66-70 and beat out Claremont Mudd Scripps' Brad Shigezawa with a 208.
Two other Highlanders finished in the top-15 as Jason Semthiti tied for ninth overall with a 215 (70-72-72), and Ryan Smith placed 11th with a 216 (71-73-72).
Bradley Fox tied for 21st firing scores of 78-68-76 (222) while Christian Rajcic tied for 30th with a 224 (71-81-72).
The UC Riverside Golf Team returns to action at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on April 8-9 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
