Riverside—UC Riverside cross country and track runner Cody Jordan heads to Mammoth in just one week as the UC Riverside Cross Country Teams take part in their annual preseason altitude training program, and we here at gohighlanders.com got to know him a little better this summer via our Highlander Highlights series.

   ... is from Apple Valley, California.
      ... Loves to play soccer and hunt.
         ... is majoring in business administration.
            ... is the youngest of five children.
               ... believes in ghosts.
Cody's worst injury was a stress fracture in his femur from running his freshman year of college.
He believes the secrets to a great life are patience and the ability to learn from your mistakes.
Two famous people Cody has met are David Beckham and Mike Epps.
Cody has seven pets: two dogs, and five horses.
His greatest achievement so far in life has been proving himself as a Division I athlete after dealing with an injury.
