Arizona Wildcats Beat Men's Tennis, 7-0

Tucson, AZ - The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team dropped a 7-0 decision to the Pac-12's Arizona on Sunday.
In doubles, the Wildcats took matches at numbers two and three to earn the first point of the contest. In singles, both Julian Ruffin and Sean Yun lost 6-5 thriller first-sets before falling in two.
"The guys played with more determination today," Head Men's Tennis Coach Tim Downey stated. "Arizona is a very solid team. With this new format, we had a number of chances but we just couldn't take advantage. It was a good experience for our young team."
The Highlanders now prepare for four matches in three days in Las Vegas from January 31-February 2.
