Ferraro 2nd, Vilaubi 3rd As UCR Maintains 2nd Place At Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown

Las Vegas, NV—The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team maintained its second place position Monday at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, shooting a 295 team score, highlighted by a three-under-par 69 from senior Brittani Ferraro. Complete Results. Day 1 Story.
Following a school record low of 287 Sunday in the first round, the Highlanders two-round total of 582 puts them just seven strokes behind the leader, San Diego State (575), and two ahead of third-place UNLV (584).
Ferraro is second individually with a five-under-par 139 (70-69), while Savannah Vilaubi is in third place with a 141 (67-74). SDSU's Haleigh Krause is the clubhouse leader at 11-under-par 133.
Other scores for UC Riverside include Haley Wian, tied for 43rd with 76-75 (151), Julia Sander, tied for 70th with a 155 (74-81), and Hannah Facchini, tied for 76th at 156 (79-77).
The third and final round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown is set to begin at 8 am PT.
