
Gazzolo Tied For Fourth As Men's Golf Sits Sixth At The Farms Collegiate Invite

Rancho Santa Fe, CA - UC Riverside's David Gazzolo shot a two-under-par 142 two-round score Monday at The Farms Collegiate Invite to tie for fourth place out of 69 competitors with one round to go. Gazzolo is only three shots behind the leader, San Diego's Grant Forrest, who came in with a five-under 139. Full Results.
Gazzolo's rounds of 69-73 helped the Highlanders Men's Golf Team shoot 299 in the first round, and 292 in the second round to place sixth out of 12 teams with a 591 total score.
UCR is just one stroke back of fifth-place Santa Clara (590), and two behind fourth-place Pacific (589).
Host San Diego leads the team field with a one-under 575, while Duke is in second at 578 with #39 Kennesaw State in third at 580.
Following Gazzolo's fourth-place finish is Pachara Sakulyong, tied for 19th overall with scores of 74-74 (148). Brandon Tsujimoto shot a 152 (75-77) to tie for 42nd, while Jason Semthiti (82-72) and Leven Simon Seay (81-73) fired identical 154 scores to tie for 48th.
Playing as an individual, Ryam Smith placed 66th with a 164 (82-82).
The final 18-hole round of the Farms Collegiate Invite is set to begin at 8 am PT on Tuesday.
