Women's Golf Moves Up One Spot To Eighth To Conclude Red Rocks Invitational

Sedona, Arizona—The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team moved up one spot to conclude the Red Rocks Invitational Sunday with a total two-round score of 617. Complete Results. Day 1 Story.

The Highlanders were in a three-way tie for ninth after a first-round 315 on Saturday, but fired a 302 in the second round to gain ground.

UCR's 617 was just one stroke shy of a tie for sixth place, and four back of fifth.

Xavier won the 18-team tournament with a 588 followed by Sacramento State and Northern Arizona in a tie for second at 602.

Yuri Ahn continued to pace the Highlanders firing 75-74 (149) to tie for ninth overall.

Savannah Vilaubi shot 154 (79-75) to tie for 25th while Brittani Ferraro carded 81-75 (156) to tie for 33rd.

Haley Wian came in with a 160 (80-80) to tie for 52nd while Isabelle Shee rounded out the team in 82nd place with 88-78=166.

NAU's Jacquie LeMarr won the individual field with a 141 score, one stroke ahead of a tie for second place.

UC Riverside now returns to action for the Anuenue Hawai'i Classic in Maui, HI on March 24-26.
