Women's Golf Opens Anuenue Spring Break Classic In 12th Place

Maui, Hawai'i - The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team fired a 316 score in the first round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic Monday to place 12th out of 15 teams with two rounds remaining. Complete Results.
The Highlanders are one stroke ahead of fellow Big West Conference member Cal Poly, but seven behind 11th-place Long Beach State.
Pepperdine and Washington are tied for the team lead with a two-over 290. San Jose State is at 296 for third place while UC Davis is in fourth with a 298.
Isabelle Shee carded a 77 to lead UC Riverside, tying for 35th overall, while Yuri Ahn was one stroke back at 78 to tie for 45th.
Brittani Ferraro shot 80 to tie for 58th while Savannah Vilaubi scored an 81 (T63rd), and Haley Wian fired an 87 (T86th).
There is a three-way tie for first place at two-under-par between Pepperdine's Grace Na, Washington's Ying Luo, and UC Davis' Betty Chen.
The second round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic gets underway at 10:45 am PT.
