Men's Golf 10th At Nick Watney Invitational Following First Two Rounds

Fresno, CA - The UC Riverside Men's Golf Team shot 296-290 on Monday in the first two rounds of the Nick Watney Invitational to place 10th out of 10 teams with a total score of 586. Complete Results.
The Highlanders are only three shots back of Sacramento State in ninth place, and within seven of a tie for seventh.
Pacific is the current tournament leader shooting a 25-under-par 551 to lead host Fresno State by 17 strokes.
David Gazzolo fired rounds of 76-69 (145) to tie for 23rd place to lead UC Riverside. Sam Gillis (73-74)Â and Andre Vu (71-76) are two strokes behind him tying for 31st with identical 147 totals.
Matt Lutz shot 150 (78-72) to tie for 46th while Brandon Tsujimoto tied for 50th with a 151 (76-75). Playing as an individual, Pachara Sakulyong also tied for 50th with rounds of 78-73 (151).
Pacific's Bryon Meth leads the individual field firing a nine-under-par 135.
The final round of the Nick Watney Invitational is scheduled to go off with tee times starting at 8:00 am PT Tuesday on holes 1 and 10.
