Danielle Littleton Punches Ticket To NCAA Championships In Long Jump

Austin, TX—Danielle Littleton punched her ticket to the NCAA Championships in the Women's High Jump, and Michael Koger (400m Hurdles), Raquel Hefflin (1,500m) and Faith Makau (800m) advanced to the quarterfinals in their respective events at the NCAA West Prelims Thursday.

Littleton's second jump of the day was her best as she cleared 6.21m (20' 4.5"). That was just a half inch off her school record set earlier this year.

Koger (52.05) and Hefflin (4:23.71) each finished fourth in their respective heats, while Makau came in third in hers with a time of 2:10.58.

Amber Wright just missed out on advancing in the Women's 400m finishing fourth in her heat with a time of 54.35.

Justin Parker came in seventh in his 400m Heat finishing in 47.52, while Vesta Bell came in 45th in the Hammer Throw clearing 53.56m (175' 9").

Zach Lews came in fifth in his 400m Hurdles heat with a time of 52.80.
