Stockton, CA—The UC Riverside Men's Golf Team improved to 13th over the third round of the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, Saturday.
Andrew Spilman shot his season-best single-round with a 69 in the final round.
TOURNAMENT NOTES
Andrew Spilman charted his second best round of his career with a 69. Spilman's career-best single-round score is 67, which he logged during the second round of the Big West Championship May 2-4, 2016 (
Recap).
Spilman shot seven birdies during the third round, and was par or better on 14 of the 18 holes.
Brandon Tsujimoto led the Highlanders, and improved seven places over the final round, tying for 23rd overall with a score of 73-71-70=214. Tsujimoto's 214 over the 52 holes tied his second-best three-round score of his career, which he first logged October 25-26, 2013 at the Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational (
Recap). Tsujimoto charted his career best three-round score of 72-73-68=213 last week at the Bill Cullum Invitational, October 15-17 (
Recap).
Brandon Tsujimoto tied for 14th on the Par 5s shooting six under. Tsujimoto led the Highlanders in birdies with 13, tying for 14th overall.
Tyler Moore tied for 11th on the Par 4s shooting one under.
Matt Lutz tied for 15th on the Par 3s, shooting even par. Lutz tied for 17th overall on pars, shooting 36 over the 52 holes.
