Davis, CA—The UC Riverside Volleyball Team (9-14, 1-10) was looking to defeat fourth-place UC Davis (15-11, 7-6), but the Aggies escaped with a 3-2 victory.

Key Runs: The Highlanders came back from a five-point deficit to tie the Aggies at 10. They tied four more times, the last of which at 14, but the Aggies took control of the set by winning the next eight points.

SET THREE (27-25, UCR)
Key Runs: Trailing 21-17, the Highlanders won six of the next seven points to take back the lead. The Highlanders closed out the set with a kill by Fabiana Rosas and a service ace by Chelsea Doyle.

SET FOUR (25-18, UCD)
Key Runs: The Aggies led by as much as three, but the Highlanders battled to close the gap. Tied at 17, the Aggies closed out the set by winning eight of the last nine points.

SET FIVE (15-4, UCD)
Key Runs: Leading 7-3, the Aggies won the next six straight points to take a lead they would never relinquish.
