
Alex Larsson Posts Third Career Double, But Men's Basketball Falls 68-56 At Grand Canyon

Phoenix, AZ—UC Riverside (2-5) got a 12-point, 15-rebound double-double from Alex Larsson, but fell at Grand Canyon (5-1), 68-56, Saturday evening.
KEY RUNS
The Highlanders led early, 7-6, but the 'Lopes scored the next 10 points to take a lead they would never relinquish. UC Riverside cut the Grand Canyon advantage to single digits on a handful of occasions in the second half, but couldn't close gap completely.
GAME NOTES
The Highlanders outshot the 'Lopes 38.0% to 34.8%. That marks the fifth time this season that UC Riverside has outshot an opponent.
Brandon Rosser, who had a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double against the 'Lopes last season, made 3 of 4 shots for eight points Saturday night, but only played 21 minutes due to foul trouble.
Alex Larsson grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds, and recorded the third double of his career (12 points).
UC Riverside's 24 turnovers were a season high.
