Irvine–This afternoon the Big West announced that Men's Tennis' Cooper Bridge and Gilbert Chung were named to the 2017 All-Conference Team.

Bridge was selected to the Honorable Mention Team in both singles and as part of the tandem with Chung in doubles. The senior from Seal Beach, CA, picked up 16 singles victories this season which brought his career total to 30 wins, and placed him seventh on the program's all-time list. This year's honor is the second Big West recognition of his career at UCR.

Chung, a freshman from Los Angeles, also was named Honorable Mention for his play in doubles while paired up with Bridge. The duo posted a 5-7 record this season, primarily playing as the no. 2 position. In singles play this season he enjoyed a 10-match winning streak in line five matches.

Bridge and Chung were key contributors to this season Men's Tennis team that set a new DI program record for wins with 14.
