RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The University of California, Riverside (UCR) Highlanders concluded their three-game Big West Conference series against CSUN with a 1-0 loss that saw eight consecutive scoreless innings between the two teams.
Tucker Juline took the mound for the Highlanders and threw six innings letting up six hits and the lone run of the day. Sergio Ramirez relieved him in the seventh inning and tossed three scoreless innings letting up two hits. Both Highlanders struck out two batters.
Taylor Juline went to work at the plate, going two for two and getting on base with a walk.
The Highlanders return to the Plex for some non-conference action with a single game against Utah Valley on Wednesday, April 20. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
