Men's Golf Closes Out North Ranch Intercollegiate Tied For 11th

Westlake Village, CA—The UC Riverside Men's Golf Team closed out the North Ranch Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon in a tie for 11th place with a three-round score of 938.
No. 10 Southern California won the team title with an 11-over-par 863, while BYU (872) and Pepperdine (875) finished in second and third respectively.
David Gazzolo finished 52nd to lead UC Riverside, shooting 80-75-79 (234), while Matt Fitzgerald tied for 53rd with a 235 (80-78-77).
BJ Doucett (74-82-80) placed 57th with a 236 while Christian Rajcic tied for 58th with a 237 (81-75-81), and Ryan Smith finished 63rd with scores of 81-79-80 (240).
The Trojans' Yi Keun Chang took home individual medalist honors with a two-under par 211.
Next up for the Highlanders is the Triumph at Pauma Valley on March 11-12 in Pauma Valley, CA.
