Women's Golf Remains In Seventh Following Second Day Of Big West Championship

San Luis Obispo, CA - The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team remained in seventh place at the Big West Conference Championship Monday shooting a 310 second-round score at San Luis Obispo Country Club. The Highlanders 626 total is only one stroke behind a tie for fifth place with one final round to go.
UCR is 10 strokes ahead of eighth-place Hawai'i, while Cal State Fullerton and Cal Poly are tied at 625 in fifth.
No. 37 UC Davis remains in the lead with a 591 two-round score, while Cal State Northridge vaulted into second at 603, followed by UC Irvine in third at 611.
Savannah Vilaubi leads the UC Riverside contingent tied for eighth overall with rounds of 75-76 (151). Brittani Ferraro is in 24th place with a 158 (78-80) while Haley Wian is a stroke back at 159 (82-77) to tie for 25th.
Both Yuri Ahn (81-79) and Isabelle Shee (82-78) are tied for 27th place with identical 160 scores.
Cal State Northridge's Clariss Guce is the individual leader at three-under-par 143.
The final round of the Big West Conference Championship gets underway with tee times starting at 7:30 am PT Tuesday.
