DuBose Named Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport Of The Month

Riverside—Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with the UC Riverside Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and chosen women's cross country runner Damajeria DuBose as the October recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." DuBose began the month of September finishing third individually out of 132 runners at the 32nd Annual UC Riverside Invitational (recap/video). Her 6k time of 20:33.4 was a personal-best and just three seconds behind the winner.
DuBose helped the Highlanders to a second place team finish was later named Big West Conference Female Athlete of the Week for her efforts.
Later in the month, DuBose finished ninth overall out of 65 runners at the Dellinger Invitational on September 29 (recap). Her 5k time of 17:08 was a personal-best, and got her ranked 56th in the country according to FloTRACK.com (recap).
